With Devgn playing the lead, the movie is centered around a famous income tax raid in UP and is thus based on real life incidents. Work on the movie is expected to start sometime in September this year.

said director Gupta as quoted in an Indian Express report. Raj Kumar Gupta also has movies like No One Killed Jessica and Rajeev Khandelwal's Aamir to his credit. The film is all set to hit the theaters on 20 April, 2018. In the meantime, Ajay Devgn's Baadshaho featuring an ensemble cast comprising of Emraan Hashmi, Ileana D'Cruz, Vidyut Jammwal and Esha Gupta is slated for release on 1 September. Devgn has previously starred in movies like Drishyam, Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai and Gangaajal.
